TRAINING

Trainer Bio:

Brooke A. Collins developed a love, and understanding for horses at a young age. As a small child she was smitten with horses, and had to ride or be near them at any chance she could get.

In her younger teens' she was successfully showing locally thoroughout Western Pennsylvania.

Brooke enjoyed long trail rides on her first horse , an Anglo-Arabian who most of his life was a Fox Hunter.

In 2008 at 18 years of age, Brooke needed a change of scenery so she headed towards the Midwest.

Brooke started giving lessons in both Hunt Seat, and Western Riding at several barns in the Chicagoland area.

In 2010 Collins attended BlackHawk College in Kewanee, IL for Equine Science.

Here she learned the following subjects in more detail; Farrier Science, Horse Production, Horse Evalutation, Horse Health Care, Western Horsemanship, Showmanship, Hunt Seat Eq, Animal Nutrition, and Animal Science.

Horses were not only her Major in College but, a life long passion- and dream job.

Brooke took an internship in 2011 at Walker Standardbreds.  Primarily focusing on the breeding, and reproduction of Standardbred Harness Horses.

Breeding Horses became a new interest to Collins during her internship, therefore, she was determined to start her own breeding program.

Two years later Empire Arabians was born.
